Enlarged pores and acne scars, renewed from beneath the surface
If enlarged pores and pitted acne scars bother you, renewal in the dermis matters as much as the skin surface. At Cellin Clinic Myeongdong, pore size, scar depth, and skin condition are assessed first, and Pico Fraxel is then used to support collagen renewal beneath the surface.

About the procedure
When enlarged pores and acne scars are the concern
Pico Fraxel is a non-ablative fractional laser that protects the skin surface while stimulating collagen and elastin production in the dermis. Ultra-fast picosecond energy forms microscopic LIOB (Laser Induced Optical Breakdown) zones in the dermis, helping improve enlarged pores, pitted scars, and rough texture.
It is designed to preserve the stratum corneum and limit impact on the epidermis and dermis, allowing energy to be delivered selectively to the target area. During consultation, pore and scar depth and your current skin condition are reviewed to plan the treatment area.

01When will I start to see a difference?+
As skin renewal progresses, many people begin to notice changes in texture and pores from about 1–2 weeks after the procedure. Timing and degree of change vary with individual skin condition.
02How long does the redness last?+
Redness can appear after the procedure and sometimes lasts around 2–3 days, though this varies by individual. In most cases it can be covered with makeup.
03How is it different from conventional Fraxel?+
Pico Fraxel is non-ablative, meaning it does not remove the skin surface. It limits epidermal damage while creating micro renewal zones in the dermis to encourage collagen production, which may help reduce the recovery burden compared with ablative Fraxel.
