About the procedure
When your facial contours look less defined than before
As skin loses elasticity, tissue around the cheeks and jaw can sag, making facial contours and the jawline look less defined. Design Thread Lifting inserts medical-grade absorbable threads beneath the skin, where their cogs and knots engage with the surrounding tissue to support sagging areas.
As the skin heals around the inserted threads, fibroblast activity and collagen production are stimulated, which may also help improve firmness. Because facial shape and the degree of sagging differ from person to person, the treatment areas are designed individually during consultation.

01How painful is the procedure?+
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, but you may feel a slight stinging or tightness as the threads are inserted. The level of discomfort varies with the treatment area and individual sensitivity.
02How is a thread lift different from laser lifting?+
The two work through different mechanisms. A thread lift places medical-grade absorbable threads beneath the skin to physically support sagging tissue while stimulating collagen production, whereas laser lifting delivers energy into the skin to help improve firmness and laxity. The more suitable option depends on your skin condition, degree of sagging, and the change you want.
